Community Lunch to take place in Milton Keynes to help combat 'January blues'

A community lunch will be taking place in January to help residents to combat the 'January blues'.

Conniburrow Community Centre will be holding a community lunch in January in a bid to 'bring some joy to January'.

The free event, organised by Great Linford Parish Council hopes to combat the January blues, with Tommy Hayes, Community Liaison Officer for Great Linford Parish Council saying: "After all the activity throughout December, many people find January one of the toughest months of the year. In addition to the cold weather, there are fewer community events, and there is a long wait until payday after the cost of Christmas."

Taking place on Saturday 14th January, the event is free and open to all residents from the Great Linford Parish with a ticket,  you can get your ticket here.

There will be food, local music and activities on offer for people to enjoy between 12pm-4pm.
