Comedian John Bishop set to perform in Milton Keynes for one night only

English comedian John Bishop is set to perform over 100 shows, including one in Milton Keynes, as part of his 2021 stand-up tour.

Currently, Milton Keynes Theatre is closed due to the coronavirus pandemic and all shows have been suspended until mid-October. Social distancing restrictions mean shows cannot take place, and it is not yet known when the much-loved venue will be able to open again.

However, theatre bosses across the country are hoping that next year will see a range of shows return to the stage, including a stand-up performance from presenter and comedian John Bishop.

He will be taking to the road for his first full tour in more than three years, and stopping off at Milton Keynes Theatre in the process.

The Right Here, Right Now tour will kick off in August 2021, eventually making its way to Milton Keynes on 26 September.

John Bishop said: "After the last six months we've all endured, it feels like a lifetime since I last performed in front of a live audience.

"There's nothing like stand-up comedy to put a smile back on your face, so I can't wait to get back out on the road."

Tickets will go on sale at 9 am on Friday, and you can get them here.
