McDonald's and Thames Valley Police Launch "Coffee With A Copper" next Friday 25th August.
McDonald’s invites guests to its Midsummer Arcade restaurant as it sees the launch of its monthly drop in sessions with Thames Valley Police, badged Coffee with a Copper.
The initiative is aimed at encouraging the community to interact with their local Police Officers, and inviting them to come forward with queries or concerns they may have. Drop in sessions will take place from 3-5pm on the last Friday of the month.
Ken Tomkins, owner of local franchise Kaizen Restaurants which operates five of the restaurants in Milton Keynes, commented “We have always supported the local police force and regularly see them through our work with the community.”
“Now we are excited to announce this partnership, with regular dates so nearby residents are able to get to know their local officers. We hope to see plenty of the local community on Friday 25 August.”
City centre Sergeant Keith Lavery added, “These events will be a great opportunity for the community to come and see their local policing team to discuss any issues they feel we should know about or could help with. It also gives our residents and visitors the opportunity to speak with us in a friendly, informal and neutral environment. No appointment is necessary, simply turn up and have your say!”
