Drugs, disorder and anti-social behaviour linked to property.
Milton Keynes police have obtained a Full Closure Order for an address in the city centre.
Neighbourhood team officers obtained the order for the property on North Ninth Street, central Milton Keynes, following long term reports of anti-social behaviour, disorder and drug related activity linked to the address, with a significant impact on local residents and families.
The order will remain in place for three months, until 22nd April this year.
The Closure Order, obtained this week, means that no-one, including the tenant, may enter the property unless authorised by the court. Any breach is a criminal offence.
This result follows partnership work between Thames Valley Police, Milton Keynes Council, and local residents.
“We will continue to work proactively to tackle anti-social behaviour, protect vulnerable residents and improve safety within our communities,” said a police spokesperson.
“If you have concerns about ASB in your area, please report it via 101 or online at: www.thamesvalley.police.uk. In an emergency, always call 999.”
