Classic cars rev into Stony Stratford this Sunday

This Sunday (2 June), Stony Stratford will be going back in time as the annual Classic Stony revs into action in support of Willen Hospice.

Every year, this free event attracts classic car enthusiasts and families from all over the local area. Get up close to vintage, classic, and interesting cars and motorcycles – and don’t forget to look up - the Royal Air Force Battle of Britain Memorial Flight will be performing a fly-past over the Festival. If that’s not enough, there will also be live music, and a ‘Best in show’ competition, including The Best of British, Best Saloon, Best Sports Car, Best Motorcycle, Best Restored Motorcycle, Spirit of the Show, and much more.

Carolyn Green, Community Fundraiser, said “Classic Stony is a fantastic event, and a great way to raise vital funds for Willen Hospice. We are extremely thankful to the Classic Stony organisers for their support - we can’t wait to see the displays on Sunday.”

Over the last 10 years, Classic and Vintage Stony has raised over £50,000 for Willen Hospice. The Hospice needs to raise £4.7million every year, that’s £9 a minute. Thanks to local events like this, Willen Hospice can continue providing free compassionate care to patients and their families in Milton Keynes and the surrounding areas.

Classic Stony is being run in partnership with Stony Stratford Business Association as part of ‘Stony Live’ week.
