Milton Keynes Cinema suspends movies and closes its doors due to 'unforeseen circumstances'

Film fans wanting to take in the latest blockbuster at Cineworld Milton Keynes yesterday were out of luck.

In a message posted to their Facebook page, the company wrote: 'Please be advised that due to unforeseen circumstances, the cinema will be closed today. Any affected bookings will be refunded automatically. We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience caused.

'We will post any updates on this page, once we are open again. Thank you for your patience and understanding.'

One ticket-holder said: "We were turned away from the cinema today (had a 4DX screening) because many screens had a heating issue. We were told we'd get a full refund automatically.'

Another wrote: "My daughter and her friends were turned away from their showing last night due to a problem with the boiler..."

No further updates have been given. MKFM has contacted Cineworld for an update.
