Channel 4 show 'The Dog House' looking for Milton Keynes residents to adopt dogs and appear on TV

The new series of the hit Channel 4 programme is looking for locals to give a loving home to rescue dogs, while having their journey filmed as part of the show.

The series documents the blossoming relationships between dogs and their new owners as they get to know their new furry friends.

Filming for the series is set to take place at Cambridgeshire, at Wood Green's Godmanchester centre which specialises in matching dogs with new owners.

A spokesperson for Five Mile Films, the production company behind the show, said: "In previous series, we found that there were many reasons people might be considering bringing a dog into their life – loneliness, extra company for a child, to encourage exercise, to live in the moment more, to name a few.

"We are currently searching for people who are thinking about rehoming a rescue dog, and who would be up for sharing their various reasons for doing so."
