Casino in Milton Keynes to reopen this weekend after seven months of closure

The Casino MK is set to reopen its doors on Friday (30/10) for the first time in just over seven months.

The Aspers-run casino was forced to close in March, just like all other venues, due to the coronavirus lockdown.

Restaurants, cinemas, and other entertainment and hospitality venues gradually started to reopen in the summer but casinos were amongst the few businesses that had to remain closed.

But it has recently been announced that our local casino has been given the go-ahead to open, so long as it operates in a COVID-secure manner.

The Casino MK, at Xscape, will be operating on reduced capacity, as little as half, to ensure social distancing can be followed.

Hand sanitiser stations will be placed throughout the casino and guests will be asked to sanitise prior to entering.

Table games will be limited to three seats per table and slot machines and electronic roulette terminals, with there being dividers and chairs removed to ensure social distancing can be followed.

The Casino MK will be open from 10am to 10pm each day.
