Car seized following large car cruise in Milton Keynes

A large car cruise was disrupted by police on Sunday night (18/6).

Milton Keynes police attended an illegal street race on Sunday night (18 June) where several motorists were stopped by officers.

Police say one driver had his car seized following antisocial use, drifting and wheel-spinning on a public road, after receiving a warning earlier this year.

Police can issue a warning under Section 59 of the Police Reform Act 2002, meaning if you or your vehicle drive antisocially and carelessly/off-road within 12 months, it will be seized and impounded.

The motorist will now have to pay several hundred pounds in recovery and storage fees and will also face points and a fine for his driving.

Multiple other offences were recorded on camera by police, and those who were not stopped on the night can expect fines or court summons in the post in the coming days.
