Car driver remains in Hospital following serious injury road traffic collision in Milton Keynes

    Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses following a serious injury road traffic collision in Milton Keynes.

    At around 4.20pm on Tuesday (2/6) there was a collision on the A5 northbound between a white Nissan Qashqai and a white HGV.

    The collision occurred between Kelly’s Kitchen Roundabout and the exit for Caldecotte.

    The driver of the Nissan, a 25-year-old man, sustained potentially life-threatening injuries and was taken to hospital where he remains. There were no other occupants in the car.

    The HGV driver, a man aged 40, was not injured.

    Investigating officer, PC Steve Leathersich, of Milton Keynes Roads Policing Unit, said: “I am appealing for witnesses to this collision, which has resulted in a 25-year-old man being taken to hospital with potentially life-threatening injuries.

    “I am appealing to any motorists who were on the A5 before or during this time that may have seen anything.

    “I would also like to ask that anyone with a dash-cam fitted to their vehicle reviews the footage to check if anything significant relating to this incident was picked up.
