Cannabis factory found in village near Milton Keynes

Officers say nearly 200 plants were seized from a property in a village near Milton Keynes.

Last Wednesday (22 March), police were made aware of a cannabis factory in Aspley Heath, near Milton Keynes.

Community officers from the Ampthill Community Policing Team & Surrounding Area attended the Bedfordshire village property.

187 cannabis plants were seized at the scene.

Residents have been asked to report any suspicious activity through 101 or online. 

"Your community officer's were made aware of a cannabis factory in Aspley Heath," a spokesperson for the policing team wrote on Facebook.

"187 cannabis plants will never make it to the streets.

"Report any suspicious activity through 101 or online. Always call 999 in an emergency."
