Canal festival comes to Milton Keynes next weekend

The Fenny Stratford Canal Festival is a two day event between bridges 96 & 97 on the Grand Union canal taking place on the 7th and 8th August.

The event is free for all and will be on between 11am and 5pm both days.

Admission is free to everybody and visitors will be able to visit a floating market, join in with crafts and lots more.

Visitors will also be able to see the new community boat Electra as it makes a visit to the festival on Saturday.

The event has been arranged by the Inland Waterways Association (IWA) Milton Keynes Branch. The IWA is a registered charity that works to protect and restore the country's 6500 miles of canals and rivers.
