Call 999 and 'do not approach' man police want to speak to after woman is attacked in her Milton Keynes home

    Thames Valley Police is appealing for the public’s help in tracing a man who is wanted in connection with an assault in Bradwell, Milton Keynes.

    Mariusz Klinkowski, aged 40, is being sought by officers, who wish to speak to him relating to an incident, which occurred on 19 July.

    A man has forced entry into the rear of the victim’s garden, using a hammer to smash glass.

    He then used the hammer to hit the victim on the head, causing a one-inch cut.

    Threats were also made with a screwdriver towards the victim, a woman aged in her fifties.

    The victim required hospital treatment for her injuries, but she has since been discharged.

    Klinkowski is described as a white man, around 5ft 11ins to 6ft 1ins tall with a medium build and green eyes.

    He has black, shaven dropped hair and an unshaven beard and moustache.

    He is known to frequent Greenleys, Wolverton and Bletchley.

    Investigating officer Detective Constable Ryan Heap, based at Milton Keynes police station, said: “We are looking to question Klinkowski in connection with this alleged assault.

    “This was a violent attack involving weapons, whereby the victim was attacked in her own home.

    “If you see Klinkowski, do not approach him, but instead call 999, quoting reference number 43220319739.

    “Alternatively, if you know of his whereabouts, please contact us on 101 or make a report via the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
