A busy road in Bletchley is set to close for three weeks after high voltage cables were damaged.

Watling Street in Bletchley, Milton Keynes, from the Tesco Roundabout and Saxon Street is set to be closed for 3 weeks.

The road will still be open in the opposite direction.

Milton Keynes City Council say the closure is to allow National Grid to fix damage caused to high voltage cables which were damaged prior to Christmas by previous contractors installing new cables for the developments at Caldecotte.

Labour councillors for the Bletchley ward say they have asked for more detail regarding the pedestrian crossings.
