You are invited to join Milton Keynes City Council for the launch of the Milton Keynes Sustainability Strategy and City Action Plan.
The event, on March 2, will be hosted at Unity Place.
New city residents are urged to 'Come and show your support, your commitment, and your active interest in helping to shape a greener, more resilient Milton Keynes.'
The updated Strategy sets out how Milton Keynes City Council will accelerate progress towards net zero, strengthen climate resilience, and deliver wider benefits for residents, communities, and businesses - including green skills, low carbon growth, improved health and wellbeing, and lower energy costs.
The morning session (running 9am until midday) will introduce the new Sustainability Strategy and key delivery actions, highlight local projects and best practice, bring together partners from across Milton Keynes for shared learning and help build new relationships and collaboration opportunities.
A networking lunch will follow, until 1pm, and then there will be a practical Heat Networks workshop until 3pm.
