Broughton Fire Station in Milton Keynes to host open day this weekend

    Broughton Fire Station in Milton Keynes will be hosting an Open Day this weekend, allowing local people to get a look into the life of a Firefighter.

    This Sunday, 6th August, Broughton Fire Station will be opening its doors to the public for an Open Day.

    Multiple demonstrations will be taking place throughout the day as well as a BBQ, raffle, stalls and more.

    The Open Day will be taking place between 11am and 4pm.

    The event is completely free for everyone and money raised on the day will support 'The Firefighters Charity'.

    Broughton Fire Station opened in 1977 and covers a varying amount of risks, including the city centre, Milton Keynes University Hospital, support to Cranfield airport, a large number of housing estates and a significant section of the M1 motorway.

    It is located off the H6 Childs Way.
