Two further arrests made in Milton Keynes murder investigation

    Two further arrests have been made in connection with a murder investigation in Milton Keynes.

    Two men, aged 21, from Birmingham have been arrested on suspicion of murder and remain in custody at this time.

    This is now the fifth arrest made in this investigation. 

    A 25-year-old man, a 29-year-old man, and a 34-year-old woman, all from Birmingham, who were arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and murder, remain in police custody at this time.

    The arrest is in connection with an incident at the Atesh venue in Grafton Gate East on 27th December in which 28-year-old Nagiib Maxamed sadly died.

    A post-mortem found Mr Maxamed died from a stab wound to the chest.

    His family continue to be supported by specially trained officers.

    Another man who was injured following the incident has now been discharged from hospital.

    On Tuesday, Atesh had its licence suspended following a request from Thames Valley Police.
