Brand new supermarket opens in Milton Keynes today

A brand new Lidl supermarket has opened its doors for the first time in Milton Keynes today (4/2).

This means that residents in Newport Pagnell will be just down the road from the large store, which is off of Wolverton Road in Blakelands.

The city's new store has a 1,410m² sales area and features facilities such as an instore bakery, customer toilets, ample parking for both cars, bicycles and electrical vehicle charging.

There are now five Lidl supermarkets in Milton Keynes, with the most recent store joining the collection of others that are in Oldbrook, Brooklands, Wolverton and Bletchley.

Rachel Hargreaves, Lidl GB’s Regional Head of Property, said: “We would like to thank all those who have played a part in bringing our fifth store to Milton Keynes. It is great for us to be able to generate more jobs and investment opportunities in the area, and we are proud to serve the local community at this time.”

The opening times will be between 8am - 10pm Monday to Saturday, and 10am – 4pm on Sunday.
