Brand new partnership to see new youth theatre programme on offer for people in Milton Keynes

    Stantonbury Theatre

Black Sheep Collective have today (24/8) announce their brand new partnership with Stantonbury Theatre.

Black Sheep Collective will be delivering the Black Sheep Youth Theatre at Stantonbury Theatre from September.  The programme will provide Black Sheep Youth Theatre members the opportunity to use and access the resources of Stantonbury Theatre, including performance opportunities on the main stage throughout the year.

The partnership will provide Stantonbury Theatre with a fully functioning youth theatre programme for children from the ages of 5 to 18 years. Unfortunately, the youth theatre at Stantonbury Theatre had to close due to the pandemic in 2020.

A new adult acting class will be starting alongside the Youth Theatre programme.

Black Sheep Actors will be held on Tuesday’s evening, 7:00pm to 9:00pm for people aged 18 and above. The sessions will focus on developing performing skills and exploring various theatre practices.

The group will be working towards various performances throughout the year.

Free tasters will be available for all of the classes.

As Black Sheep Collective and Stantonbury Theatre want to reduce barriers that stop people from accessing and engaging in the arts, bursaries and payment plans will be available for those who need them.

To enrol on any of the programmes, you can find out more by emailing Georgia, Director of Theatre and Outreach at Black Sheep Collective, on georgia@blacksheepcollective.co.uk or call the Black Sheep Production Office on 01908 804257.

You can also find all the details on Black Sheep Collective's website or at Stantonbury Theatre.
