The brand new state-of-the-art golf centre will open on 18th February, at Granby Trade Park, with a promise to combine great customer service with the very latest technology to deliver a customer experience second to none.
With its flagship store in Cambridge welcoming customers since 2019 and its sisters site opening in Peterborough in 2020, this new location will provide the same attentive, personal touch which has been so warmly received by AF Golf visitors to date.
The new AFGolf Store is 4500 square foot in size, making it the largest Golf store in Milton Keynes, and the ideal destination for golfing expertise.
Their team of PGA Professionals and club fitters are available to help in any way necessary. Whether it be a re-grip on a Driver, or a brand new set of Irons.
The free golf club fitting service will be available to book 7 days a week from Monday to Sunday. All fittings are free of charge, and the team will always tailor their approach based upon the specific requirements of the customer.
Despite the numerous challenges brought about by COVID-19, it may surprise many to learn that 2020 saw a record uptake in individuals playing golf, and AFGolf Store are determined to help make the sport even more accessible.
AFGolf Store hope that this new location will provide greater flexibility for visiting customers to sample the supreme customer service, and family environment that the team has managed to cultivate and nurture over the past three years.
AFGolf Store Milton Keynes will offer comprehensive coaching support in the form of Lead Coach Elliott Appleby.
Elliott will work alongside customers to identify potential improvements in their game, or simply assist in selecting the correct golfing equipment for their style of play. The coaching team is not only extremely knowledgeable, but guided by the very latest technology within the golfing world to uncover the underlying statistics which may impact a golfer’s game.
Golf lessons at AFGolf Store not only encompass one on one tutorial, they are conducted in a state of the art swing studio under the presence of Trackman technology and video analysis software.
Trackman accurately measures the flight of the golf ball, providing valuable data which helps the coaching team suggest club characteristics or swing changes with even greater confidence.
Along with the range of Drivers, Irons and Putters on show, they will also display the latest clothing trends within the game. Adidas, Ralph Lauren and Under Armo HUGO BOSS are just a handful of the clothing brands available to view, and AFGolf Store are ready to do their part as golf clubs around the UK prepare to welcome golfers back to the Greens this coming year.
With the grand opening now fast approaching, Sales Director Oliver Fullerton said: "We are very excited about the Milton Keynes store. We have developed our style in a unit that has been vacant for a while, customized it with our ideas and how we want the shop to look.
"Milton Keynes has got quite a few golf courses in and around and not many shops to buy products from, so we think it’s a good opportunity to be able to offer the services. Alot of people are new to the game and we see investing in this location a great opportunity as we have definitely seen a rise in demand. Business has been fantastic, the growth for the sport in the last year or so has been incredible. We are looking forward to the new shop.”
