Blue Light Hub in Milton Keynes to host open day for residents this weekend

Residents are invited to visit West Ashland's Blue Light Hub for an Emergency Service Open Day this weekend and learn about the emergency services in the city.

MK's Emergency Services hub in West Ashland will be opening its doors to the public this Sunday with a huge range of demonstrations and emergency vehicles on display.

Residents are invited to the free event which starts at 11am this Sunday 3rd September.

The open day will raise money for the Firefighter Charity, Thames Valley Police and South Central Ambulance Service.

Visitors will be able to take part in the raffle, enjoy a BBQ, soak a firefighter, play football and watch demonstrations from the emergency services.

The Blue Light Hub in West Ashland first opened back in 2020, during the pandemic, and merged some of Milton Keynes' existing fire stations to create a centre for emergency services.

Keep an eye on West Ashland Fire Station on Facebook for updates and information.
