Bletchley primary school gets ready for online pizza masterclass for National Pizza Day

Students at Knowles Primary School in Milton Keynes are getting ready for an online pizza class tomorrow, delivered by chef Dean Hurley.

All ingredients used for tomorrows class have been donated to the school by Impact Food Group.

The class aims to encourage children to get involved with cooking along with their parents.

The lesson will be delivered remotely to students as has been the case for many children across the city during lockdown.

Some of the ingredients supplied to students include Pizza Mix, oregano and cheese.

Sharing the news on Twitter, the school said: “Massive thank you to Tracy and Stuart from Impact Food Group for donating ingredients and the expertise of chef Dean Hurley for our online remote UKS2 pizza masterclass tomorrow.

”Our children & families, both in school and at home can't wait to cook and eat together.”

Today marks National Pizza Day, a day that celebrates the love of the Italian dish.

A study revealed that the average Brit manages to eat 731 pizzas in their lifetime.
