The annual Christmas lights display organised by residents of Kennington Close in Newport Pagnell draws visitors from all over the city.
December’s delightful arrangement raised a packet for charity, too.
“Willen confirmed we raised £7640.61,” said a spokesperson for the Kennington Close team, “All thanks to your generous donations. This will help provide vital services for their patients. Please accept our heartfelt thanks.”
Visitors have been quick to take to social media to praise the efforts of those who open their street to support the charity every December.
“Wow! What an amazing amount! Thank you to all the residents who make such a huge effort to bring happiness and Christmas magic to so many and then to raise so much is just phenomenal” wrote one, while another said, “Well done to everyone in Kennington close who spent such a long time putting up thousands of lights to bring Christmas magic!
"Delighted to hear you have raised such a huge amount for Willen Hospice.”
