Baby Basics Milton Keynes issues plea to supporters

Baby Basics MK has issued a plea for people to stop leaving donations outside its old address in Kiln Farm.

The charity works with the local community and businesses to reuse high-quality second-hand and new items which are used in gift packages to support some of the most vulnerable families with children aged 0-6 in the new city.

The packages contain all manner of vital items – from sleeping and feeding equipment to clothing, toys, and toiletries.

The charity vacated its Kiln Farm premises in April and is now based at the MK Charity Hub at Barford in Galley Hill, where it shares premises with MK Food Bank and Girl Pack.

“Sadly, anything left at the old site isn't being collected and may end up being thrown away,” said project manager Hannah Forbes.

The services provided by the charity are more in demand than ever, and your donations are essential.

“We're so grateful for all your continued support – every donation really does make a difference to families across Milton Keynes," Hannah added.

If you have good quality items that you would like to donate, Baby Basics MK is open every Monday - Thursday between 9am and 1pm when the phone line is manned: 01908 968488.
