Award-winning safety centre in Milton Keynes is on the hunt for a new CEO

Hazard Alley, based in Kiln Farm, is the world's first interactive indoor safety education village.

Since opening in 1994, it has introduced over half a million children to risks, dangers, and hazards in a safe and secure environment.

It puts children in various everyday scenarios that could potentially be dangerous, including road safety and fire safety, to teach them what and what not to do. The realistic simulations are incredibly influential for children, with Hazard Alley's visit remaining in the minds of children through to their adulthood.

The organisation, which generates annual revenue in excess of £250k, won two business awards in 2020.

And now, Hazard Alley is looking for an "influential" and "inspirational" individual to lead the safety centre as Chief Executive.

"The CEO must lead and manage all aspects of the charity working with Trustees to develop long-term strategic direction and a three-year business plan to develop new and financially sustainable ways of providing safety education, building on the grant funding and business support we already enjoy. The Centre has 6 staff plus about 40 volunteers."
