Two boys, one aged 15 and one aged 16, have been arrested on suspicion of section 18 Grievous Bodily Harm with intent following a stabbing in Milton Keynes yesterday.
At just after 6.50pm (14/2), police received a call from South Central Ambulance Service reporting that they had been deployed to an incident on Conniburrow Boulevard, where a man had been stabbed.
Police, including an armed response unit, attended the location and located a man aged in his twenties, who had sustained serious injuries. He remains in hospital at this time.
The two boys arrested remain in custody at this time.
“I believe there were a number of people in the area at the time of this incident and am appealing to anybody who witnessed what happened to please contact us," said lead investigating officer Detective Inspector Laura Herrington, based at Milton Keynes police station.
“I would particularly like to hear from anybody who has CCTV, doorbell or dashcam footage from the Conniburrow area at the time of the incident.
“I appreciate that this incident would have been very concerning to anyone who witnessed it and those living in the local area and I would like to reassure you that we are investigating as a priority today. Officers will be in the area carrying out enquiries and I would urge anyone with questions, concerns or information to please speak to them.”
