Applications open for female tech bootcamp in Milton Keynes

Women in Milton Keynes with a technology-based business idea are invited to apply for a new bootcamp which could help take their ideas to launch.

Applications for the programme, from Milton Keynes-based company Female Techpreneur, are open until the end of the month. Five fully-sponsored slots for the 12-week programme are available.

The bootcamp has been designed to aid aspiring and early-stage founders who need help launching or fine-tuning their businesses, providing mentorship, resources and support to test the viability of their ideas and turn their plans into reality.

Female Techpreneur was founded by Milton Keynes businesswoman Bukky Babajide to provide a platform for women to launch tech-enabled businesses, amid concerns that women in tech find it harder to raise capital and scale their companies. As well as the bootcamp, Female Techpreneur runs monthly networking sessions for women in tech in Milton Keynes.

Bukky Babajide said: “Female Technpreneur is committed to supporting female founders as they build their tech-enabled businesses and we encourage women from Milton Keynes with a tech idea to apply to our next bootcamp.

“The bootcamp will help budding entrepreneurs develop their ideas and prepare them for market, and we have five fully-sponsored places available. I know there are some great ideas out there in Milton Keynes and I look forward to meeting our next cohort of entrenpreneurs.”

Female founders with an idea that is tech or digital enabled are invited to apply before 31 December.
