    Appeal for witnesses following serious injury collision

    At 7pm on Friday (5/10), two motorbikes were involved in a collision where both riders came off their bikes on Northampton Road in Lathbury.

    Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses following a serious injury collision in Milton Keynes.

    One rider, a 32-year-old man, suffered a serious injury to his head and is in John Radcliffe Hospital in a critical condition. He was riding a blue Yamaha motorcycle.

    The other rider, a 29-year-old man suffered minor injuries to his chest and leg. He received treatment at John Radcliffe Hospital and has since been discharged. He was riding a red BMW motorcycle.

    Investigating Officer PC Doug Murphy, of Road Policing at Milton Keynes station, says, “This was a nasty collision in which both motorcycle riders sustained injuries, and one of them is in a critical condition in hospital.

    “We are appealing for any witnesses who may have seen either motorcycle along the roads nearby just before the accident happened at 7pm.”
