Appeal for witnesses following assault in Milton Keynes

    Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses following an assault in Milton Keynes. It happened between midnight and 6.30am on Sunday (9/8).

    The victim, a man in his forties, was walking through the underpass between Westcroft and Oxley Park when he was approached by two men who then assaulted him.

    The victim sustained a wound to his back consistent with having been caused by a knife. He is currently receiving hospital treatment.

    Investigating officer, Detective Constable Matt Acland, based at Milton Keynes police station, said: “We are appealing for witnesses to this incident, or anyone who has any information, to please come forward.

    “Thames Valley Police treats violent crime with the utmost priority and is committed to reducing knife enabled crime and bringing offenders to justice.
