Appeal for witnesses following assault in Milton Keynes

Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses following an assault and public order offence.

The incident occurred on Sunday between about 4.15pm and 4.25pm, southbound on Saxon Gate between Monks Way and Silbury Boulevard.

A passenger in a white box van, registration beginning DP66, shouted abuse at a driver in a Ford Focus who had stopped his car to allow the occupants of a broken down vehicle to push their car off the road.

The passenger in the white van then threw a can of drink at this driver, hitting his shoulder and resulting in the contents emptying into his car.
The offender is an Asian man, in his late twenties or thirties, who spoke with a Birmingham accent. He was wearing a beige beanie hat and a crimson coloured jumper.

Investigating officer, PC Jodie Martin of the Investigation Hub based at Milton Keynes, said: “We are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the incident or recognises the description of the man to contact the Thames Valley Police enquiry centre on 101 quoting reference number 43170373045.”
