Appeal for witnesses following assault in Milton Keynes estate

Thames Valley Police is appealing for information following an assault in Milton Keynes.

At a time between 2.15pm and 2.30pm on Saturday 14 August, an 11-year-old boy was cycling on the redway in Greenleys, near to the Greenleys First School, when he was approached by a girl.

The girl began talking to the boy, before she then punched him in the face, which caused reddening to the boy’s ear.

The offender then cycled away. The victim did not require hospital treatment

The offender is described as white, and aged around 14 or 15 years old. She had long dark hair and was riding on a dark blue BMX bicycle with golden rims around the wheels.

Investigating officer PC Gemma Gibbs, of Milton Keynes police station, said: “I would like to appeal for witnesses to this incident, or anyone that may have information on it.

“This young boy was cycling along the redway near to Greenleys First School when he was punched by the offender. He sustained reddening to his ear, but thankfully he did not sustain more serious injuries.

“Anyone who saw this take place, or knows about it, is asked to make contact with Thames Valley Police, either by reporting online or call 101, quoting reference 43210364082.”
