Appeal for witnesses after woman is spat on in assault in Milton Keynes

    Police in Milton Keynes are appealing for witnesses following an assault, which saw an offender spit on a woman.

    At around 2.45pm on Sunday (November 30), the victim, a woman in her 30s, was crossing at the traffic lights next to Lidl on Stratford Road, Wolverton where an offender spat on her.

    The offender continued to walk on either Stratford Road towards the roundabout by Tesco or turned onto Radcliffe Street.

    He is described as a white man, around 5ft 8ins tall, of stocky build, with a short light-coloured stubble beard. He was wearing a dark forest green tracksuit with a hood, a burgundy coat and trainers.

    "I am appealing for anybody who witnessed this incident, or who may have dash-cam footage that has captured the incident, to please get in touch with Thames Valley Police," said investigating officer, PC Faraz Ahmed.
