Appeal for information following burglary at convenience store

Thames Valley Police is appealing for information following the burglary of a convenience store in Milton Keynes.

At around 1.50am on Tuesday (25/10), three offenders smashed the entrance to the Co-op shop in Highgrove Hill, Great Holm, and tried to open the cigarette cabinet behind the till.

Having failed to do this, they then stole four or five bottles of vodka and left the store.

All of the offenders were wearing hooded tops, baseball caps and gloves.

Investigating officer PC Alex Kiljan said: “Criminal behaviour like this will not be tolerated in Milton Keynes.

“I would urge anybody with information as to the identity of the offenders, or anybody who may have witnessed the burglary, to contact me on the police non-emergency number 101 or the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111. No personal details are taken, information is not traced or recorded and you will not go to court.”
