Appeal after masked men force entry to home near Milton Keynes

    Detectives investigating an aggravated burglary in Old Stratford are appealing for witnesses and information.

    At around 10pm on Thursday night (24th October), two masked men forced entry to a property in Deanshanger Road, Old Stratford, and demanded keys to a vehicle.

    When the occupants said it did not belong to them the pair ran off into London Road, pursued by the householder who was able to detain one of the men until he was arrested by police.

    The second man was able to escape and is described as white, 5ft 10in, in his late 30s and of stocky build. He wore a grey tracksuit top and grey jogging bottoms, with his face covered by a balaclava.

    A man in his late 40s arrested in connection with the incident remained in police custody yesterday.
