A report has been made to Thames Valley Police that a child was approached and asked to get in a car by an adult near Milton Keynes this morning.
The child was approached by a woman in a car on Newport Road in Hanslope at around 10.00am this morning.
The child was asked if she wanted to enter the car, but did not do so and the car was driven away.
Details of the vehicle are unknown at this stage.
Any witnesses are being asked to call 101 quoting URN 283 28/12.
With the Milton Keynes Marathon returning on Sunday 5th and Monday 6th May, a number of roads will be closed.
The incident occurred at approximately 10.20pm on Friday 19 April at Briar Hill in Stacey Bushes.
