Another 14 coronavirus cases recorded in Milton Keynes as infection rate stays above national average

    There were a further 14 coronavirus cases recorded in Milton Keynes today (1/6) as the infection rate has stayed above the national average.

    The latest data brings the total number of people tested positive in Milton Keynes since the start of the pandemic to 20,389 - of which 92 were in the past seven days.

    The 7-day case rate in Milton Keynes slightly increased to 33.0 cases per 100,000 people where it was previously at 29.3 cases per 100,000 people. 

    This continues to be above the national average of 30.3 cases per 100,000 people.

    Nationally, there was an additional 3,165 people who tested positive yesterday, with 0 deaths within 28 days of a positive test.

    148,567 local people have had their first dose of the vaccine and 86,419 people are now fully vaccinated.
