All 4 KFCs in the Milton Keynes are are now closed due to ongoing chicken shortage

KFC has now confirmed that all four of their Milton Keynes restaurants (Xscape, Stadium MK, Westcroft and Stacey Bushes) are currently closed due to continued issues with their chicken deliveries.

MKFM reported yesterday that the stores at Xscape and Stadium MK were closed, but since then the Westcroft and Stacey Bushes stores have also closed their doors.

Last week, the fried chicken chain switched its delivery contract to DHL, which blamed "operational issues" for the supply disruption.

A KFC spokesperson has confirmed that workers at the Milton Keynes locations are being encouraged to take holiday but would not be forced to do so.

In a statement on the restaurant's website, the chain said: "We’ve brought a new delivery partner onboard, but they’ve had a couple of teething problems - getting fresh chicken out to 900 restaurants across the country is pretty complex!"

"We won’t compromise on quality, so no deliveries has meant some of our restaurants are closed, and others are operating a limited menu, or shortened hours."

"We know that this might have inconvenienced some of you over the last few days, and disappointed you when you wanted your fried chicken fix - we’re really sorry about that."

"Shout out to our restaurant teams who are working flat out to get us back up and running again."

It is not yet known when any of the Milton Keynes restaurants will be re-opening.
