Age UK Milton Keynes is an independent charity that relies on donations and volunteers to continue supporting older residents.
And just like other charities across Milton Keynes, their fundraising efforts have been severely impacted by the pandemic and the subsequent lockdowns.
But for the first time this year, Age UK Milton Keynes will be hosting an event to raise much-needed funds.
The Family Fun Day will be taking place at the Peartree Centre on Saturday (21/8) between 11am and 4pm.
There will be live music, various stalls, face painting, raffles, games and competitions.
A spokesperson for the charity said: "We are looking forward to our first fundraising event of the year on Saturday. Come along have some family fun and help us raise funds to support the older residents of Milton Keynes."
All money raised from the event will go towards supporting older people in Milton Keynes.
