But one of the very first wow-some things to greet people upon arrival is a piece of living history, and quite magnificent it is, too!
The grounds of the Museum is home to a beautiful Cedar of Lebanon, and during a recent health check she was found to be in good health, but in need of losing some dead branches and to be cut back from the farmhouse.
Josh Stanton of Stanton Tree Care was called in to give what he described as, 'the finest tree I have seen in Milton Keynes', some remedial treatment.
"Not bad for an over 175 year old," said Museum director Bill Griffiths, "Everyone loves our tree and we hope that she will welcome visitors for many years to come."
