They took the delicious choux pastry and turned it into a doughnut shaped treat, and the Chouxly Scrumptious brand has been tickling the tastebuds ever since!
But Emily and Marguerite Kennard, the sisters behind the chouxly brand, were thrilled and surprised to receive an offer to cater for the cast of the Netflix smash-hit, Bridgerton.
“We were asked to supply the desserts for their last day of filming,” Marguerite told MKFM, “We were contacted by one of the team, who had been looking for profiteroles, and decided that what we do would be the perfect treat.”
The Milton Keynes business, which has been whipping up a storm since launching in 2021, was naturally keen to accommodate and supplied the cast and crew with 300 chocolate brownie and Eaton Mess sundaes.
Keen to support ‘local’ they used Willen Ice Cream in those sweet treats.
Heading to the top secret filmingh location, the sisters were over the moon - the programme is a firm favourite in their household: "We love it, and even before we knew what show it was, we hoped it was Bridgerton!" Marguerite said.
Having tasted life on set, who else would they like to serve?
"I think it would have to be the cast of Traitors, we absolutely love that show. It would also lend itself to lots of fun personalisation of the desserts and dressing up!" she added.
Mingling with the Bridgerton cast was a dream, but they'll be back mingling with the local fraternity imminently - you can try their scrumptious creations when they attend the Eat Street Market at York House in Stony Stratford on Sunday, March 14.
