79 coronavirus cases and 3 virus-linked deaths reported in Milton Keynes today

    There were 79 new coronavirus cases and three virus-linked deaths announced in Milton Keynes today, according to the latest data.

    The latest update brings the total number of people tested positive in Milton Keynes since the start of the pandemic to 18,023 - of which 695 were in the past seven days.

    The 7-day case rate in Milton Keynes has fallen today from 278.3 cases to 257.9 cases per 100,000 people today

    Nationally, there were an additional 18,262 people tested positive today with 828 deaths within 28 days of a positive test.

    Three of these deaths took place in Milton Keynes taking the city's total COVID-linked death toll to 407 since the start of the pandemic. 

    11,465,210 people have received their first vaccine in the UK, with 510,057 having received their second jab.
