30 firefighters called to suspected arson at Milton Keynes block of flats

Thirty firefighters attended a suspected arson at a Milton Keynes black of flats yesterday.

The fire was in the fifth-storey corridor of the six-storey Serpentine Court block on the Lakes Estate in Bletchley.

It happened at around 7.25pm last night (Saturday).

One fire appliance and crew from Bletchley, two from Great Holm, one from Broughton, one from Newport Pagnell and two from Leighton Buzzard attended.

The fire was out on arrival.

Firefighters used a thermal imaging camera, ventilated the area and gave advice.

There were no reported injuries.
