28 new positive tests recorded in Milton Keynes today as infection rate drops just below national average

    The infection rate has dropped just below the national average as 28 new cases were recorded in Milton Keynes today (4/6).

    It brings the total number of people tested positive in Milton Keynes since the start of the pandemic to 20,451 - of which 114 were in the past seven days.

    The 7-day case rate in Milton Keynes now stands at 34.9 cases per 100,000 people, which is just below the national average of 35 cases per 100,000 people.

    Nationally, there was an additional 6,238 people who tested positive yesterday, with 11 deaths within 28 days of a positive test.

    150,210 local people have had their first dose of the vaccine and 91,954 people are now fully vaccinated.
