25 coronavirus cases and no virus-linked deaths reported in Milton Keynes today

    There were 25 new coronavirus cases but no virus-linked death announced in Milton Keynes today, according to the latest data.

    The latest update brings the total number of people tested positive in Milton Keynes since the start of the pandemic to 19,076 - of which 333 were in the past seven days.

    The 7-day case rate, or infection rate, in Milton Keynes has lowered from 131.4 cases to 123.6 cases per 100,000 people today.

    This still remains higher than the national case rate of 109.6 cases per 100,000 people. 

    Nationally, there were an additional 7,434 people tested positive today with 290 deaths within 28 days of a positive test.

    No deaths took place in Milton Keynes, leaving the city's total COVID-linked death toll to 447 since the start of the pandemic.
