245 coronavirus cases and three hospital deaths announced in Milton Keynes today

    There were 245 coronavirus cases and three hospital deaths recorded in Milton Keynes today, according to the latest data.

    It means a total of 16,365 people have now tested positive for coronavirus since the start of the pandemic - of which 1,365 were in the past seven days.

    The 7-day case rate in Milton Keynes has fallen again today from 583 cases per 100,000 people yesterday to 580.4 cases per 100,000 people today.

    Nationally, an additional 40,261 people tested positive for the virus and 1,401 sadly died within 28 days of a positive test.

    Three deaths were announced at Milton Keynes University Hospital today. These all occurred on 20th Jan.

     5,383,103 people have now had their first dose of the coronavirus vaccine nationally.

    New data shows that a total of 52,237 doses of vaccine have been delivered to residents living in Bedfordshire, Luton and Milton Keynes.

    Of these, 47,551 were first doses and 4,686 were second doses of the vaccine.
