22 patients currently being treated for coronavirus in Milton Keynes Hospital - according to latest data

    The latest update tells us that 22 patients are being treated for COVID-19 at Milton Keynes Hospital, with nobody currently being treated on a ventilator bed.

    The latest data, released by the government weekly, includes people admitted to MK Hospital who tested positive for COVID-19 in the 14 days prior to their hospital admission and those who tested positive in hospital after admission.

    This comes as 135 positive tests were recorded today, taking the total number of cases to 24,209 since the start of the pandemic.

    The 7-day case rate in Milton Keynes now stands at 468.3 cases per 100,000 people, which is below the national average of 488.0 cases per 100,000 people.

    182,442 local people have had their first dose of the vaccine so far and 135,422 people are now fully vaccinated.
