£2 single bus fares for adults in Milton Keynes over half term

Bus company Arriva is offering £2 fares across Milton Keynes this half term, as part of the Government’s Help for Households campaign.

Over February half term, single bus fares with Arriva will be £2 for adults.

The government say the move will 'help passengers with travel costs for work, education, shopping and medical treatments over the winter months' while they are facing pressures from the rising cost of living.

Currently, bus fares vary across the country dependent on the operators.

“Travelling with Arriva buses is a great way to lower your carbon footprint, sit back, and relax while someone else does the driving” says Toby France, Head of Commercial at Arriva.

“We’re proud to be supporting the Help for Households campaign with our Adult Single fares capped at just £2 through to the end of March.  For regular travellers our range of day, week, and longer period season tickets continue to offer outstanding value with unlimited travel in the Milton Keynes area starting at under £1.80 per day, and of course our Family Day Saver tickets are just £6 for the Milton Keynes Zone and £12 for the Orbit Zone during the school holidays – there’s never been a better time to get onboard!”

£2 bus fares are available onboard Arriva buses through cash, contactless, Apple Pay and Google Pay, or in advance through the Arriva UK Bus App.
