111 coronavirus cases recorded throughout Milton Keynes today

    According to the latest data, there were 111 positive coronavirus cases recorded throughout Milton Keynes today (06/07).

    The latest figures take the total number of local cases to 21,867 since the start of the pandemic - of which are 654 people who tested positive in the past seven days.

    The 7-day case rate in Milton Keynes now stands at 210.4 cases per 100,000 people, which is still below the national average of 244.3 cases per 100,000 people.

    Nationally, there was an additional 28,773 people who tested positive.

    37 deaths were also recorded within 28 days of a positive test - none of these took place in Milton Keynes meaning the city's death toll remains at 463 since the start of the pandemic.

    177,684 local people have had their first dose of the vaccine so far and 124,801 people are now fully vaccinated.
