    Dale May

    CommonGround MK

CommonGround MK is a collective of local musicians from around Milton Keynes and Bedford playing some Neo-Soul, Acoustic, Jazz and Pop tunes. The concept is to meet with like-minded musicians to create some music, create lovely sounds, have fun and socialise a little, something we all missed terribly in the last 2 years. Musicians will only participate in sessions when the track really interests them, so the line-up might change quite regularly and that’s OK. If you like Jorja Smith, Erykah Badu, Jill Scott, Angie Stone, Aaliyah, John Mayer, Tom Misch, you will enjoy us!

    Sam Wray

Sam Wray is a singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist born in Kent and raised in Milton Keynes. He started his musical life competing internationally as a street dancer but fell in love with making music when he started playing guitar and piano aged 7. Since then he has enjoyed national airplay across BBC radio and worked with a wide range of MK and London based artists. Sam draws upon numerous musical influences from The Beatles, Bob Dylan, Elton John and Dr John blending folk, pop, indie and jazz into his own unique sound.

    David Gray

A local hip-hop artist, that grew up a stone’s throw from Milton Keynes, in sunny Leighton Buzzard. Irreverent lyrics shaken up with some upfront honesty. David writes his own songs but prefers to freestyle his performances, working off suggestions from the crowd to improv. Influences include, Loyle Carner, Jam Baxter, The Mouse outfit & Nas.

DJ Set from Angus Joseph (MK Gallery).
