Fried chicken fans in Buckinghamshire can finally experience Popeyes® world-famous chicken from Friday 11th July
Popeyes® UK has announced that it will be bringing its signature Louisiana fried chicken to Buckinghamshire for the first time. Opening on Friday 11th July 2025 at 11am, Popeyes® latest restaurant will be located in Milton Keynes’ Midsummer Place Shopping Centre.
Marking its 25th opening this year and 88th since landing in the UK, Popeyes® will be pulling out all the stops, showcasing its New Orleans hospitality with exciting launch day giveaways for locals.
To celebrate, on launch day the first three people in the queue will win the ultimate prize – free Chicken Sandwiches for a whole year*. Plus, the first 50 customers will be treated to exclusive Popeyes® UK merchandise and the first 100 customers will bag a free Chicken Sandwich. To top it all off, Popeyes® is bringing its signature New Orleans spirit with a performance from Mardi Gras-style band, The Brass Funkeys.
Popeyes® has become synonymous with fans queuing around the block to try its legendary Chicken Sandwich. The team is advising hungry customers to get down early to avoid missing out on the opening day’s epic giveaways.
With both dine-in and speedy takeaway options available, fried chicken fans in Milton Keynes will soon be able to enjoy Popeyes® fan-favourites like the iconic Chicken Sandwich, Hot Wings, Tenders, and Signature Chicken Wraps.
All of Popeyes® chicken is marinated for 12 hours in its signature blend of bold Louisiana seasoning, then hand-breaded and battered to deliver that world-famous ‘shatter-crunch’ chicken.
The new Saucin’ Boneless and Hot Wings range will also be available, featuring bold, New Orleans-inspired flavours: cheesy Garlic Parm, bold BBQ, and spicy Buffalo. Each portion of the Saucin’ range features one of these iconic flavours, over either Popeyes® signature spicy Hot Wings or all-new boneless chicken breast pieces.

The new restaurant will be located at Unit 2 Midsummer Place Shopping Centre, MK9 3GB and brings 57 new jobs to the local area. Plans include 66 interior seats and 96 exterior seats, self-service kiosks and collection points for orders made online via the Popeyes® UK website or official app.
